PRESENTATION NIGHT - THE CUBANS
The BWAFL is delighted to announce that The Cubans will once again be providing the live entertainment at this seasons Presentation Night.

PRESENTATION NIGHT TICKETS
All clubs are reminded that they should now have purchased their minimum of 4 tickets for the presentation night. Fines will be issued to clubs who have not yet purchased the tickets. Please contact Joe or Rob to get yours, the 4 tickets are priced at Ł6 each. No decision has been made as to whether further tickets will be at a reduced rate. Watch this space.

PARK CENTRAL VAULTS
Please be aware that all fixtures involving Park Central Vaults have been suspended. Any clubs due to play Park Central Vaults are advised to contact the BWAFL for updated information on these fixtures.

After being away from home for almost 2 weeks i am still without any details of matches played on 12th December. No updates have taken place because of this. Once i receive any info from 12th December I will update the website.

CHRISTMAS CLOSEDOWN
There will be no fixtures scheduled for Saturday 26th December or Saturday 2nd Janury 2010. Give us all a chance to shed all that turkey and the one or two drinks we may have over the festive period.

WEBSITE PROBLEMS WITH GOOGLE
I have been informed that there is a problem with our website when you try to access it through google. It seems google scan all websites twice a week so when you search they find it quicker. However they only find the site they recently scanned. So if I update the site after they have scanned it you will see the old non-updated site. For now, when you visit our site make sure you use the 'refresh' button on your browser to ensure you get the most up to date version. The company who host our site are aware of the problem and are trying to solve it for us now. Thanks. Paul

TOP SCORERS
I know the top scorers havent been updated for a while but its because i havent had the press reports sent to me for some time. I have managed to get copies of some missing reports and i will get this updated asap. And, NO, i cant swap goals toother players, whatever goes in the press report counts as the scorers. So stop asking me to cheat!! You naughty people!!

500 NOT OUT FOR REFEREE
BWAFL Referee George Leicester took control of his 500th game on 03.10.2009. An outstanding landmark for one of the Wirral's most respected referees. League Secretary Joe Rooney was on hand to present George with a special commemorative trophy to mark the occasion. Players and officials from both Birkenhead FC & Bronze Social were also quick in congratulating George on this memorable feat. Congratulations George, and here's to another 500?
